Mar 14, 7:00amLeadfoot RanchEver wanted to take on a legendary, sealed and smooth, hill climb? Leadfoot Ranch is well known and you might be able to stretch your car's legs on March 14th!
If you've got a sports or supercar, this is a one-off opportunity you don't want to miss!
This is our Club's 4th private event at the Ranch & the only event we allow non-members to attend. We've got a 100% safety record; it's non-timed, with an emphasis on having spirited fun with fellow car enthusiasts.
Pirelli NZ are once again sponsoring us & providing a $1,000 tyre voucher that an attendee will win by lucky draw on the day.
We've got a gourmet burger truck attending to serve up an awesome breakfast burger & some lunch.
At 3:00 pm we wrap up driving and have a special invite to Rod's private hilltop area for some snacks, a drink, viewing of his GT40 (1 of 2 in NZ) - all hosted by the man himself, Rod Millen!
If you'd like to join us for this day of relaxed fun & even be part of a special convoy from Auckland, email neil@sonz.co.nz with Leadfoot in the subject line. Advise what car you'll bring and we promise to get back to you with more detail.
There are limited places available, so don't mess around! First in: best dressed.

Cars n coffee. I’m passionate about both but now I’ve sold the Ferrari, the only Italian joy I get is an affogato!
Have a great long weekend guys. I won’t be sleeping tonight 🤣 ... See MoreSee Less

YUM! Looks authentic 👍
I had one of those. Great coffee machines.... Actually had several of them over about 15 years I had it combined with the Mini Mazzer commercial cafe grinder. But.... for me it took too long to reach temp when turned on and the grinder created a lot of mess and overall making coffee took a long time 🧐🥹 PLus no-one else could work the thing and make a good coffee as you needed to have some 'skills' 😉 So I sold them all and got a Breville Oracle touch. It makes a better coffer 95% of the time, is super easy and no mess. Proper grinder and proper commercial group head, dual boiler, and very very consistent coffee that is better than most cafes. Yes yes I know this sounds blasphemy... but its true. And yes... Its possible to make a better coffee with the italian grinder and machine. But its bloody hard to get it right for both coffee and milk and its certainly not consistent. But this damn Breville makes it 95% as good as the best machines and does it the same every time 😆
Long weekend ahead here in NZ. Which deserves an outing - L or R ? ... See MoreSee Less

Sibling with her older brother that still commands a lot of respect. For an 8 year old car, the GT2RS still rules the house!

Who’d have thought you need to replace tyre pressure sensors every 5 or so years! #gt2rs #Porsche #lemansedition #supercar #demonic #boosted #pirelli #tyretech ... See MoreSee Less

Awesome Neil
I'd have thought that they would be replaced when you replace tires, which should be 5-7 years on high performance cars.
Time for instal of new tyre pressure sensors! Just learnt they only last 5 years and then need replacing due to battery death. These lasted nearly 7 years so need to be pleased I guess. #TyreTech #pirelli ... See MoreSee Less
