#1 SUPERCAR & SPORTS CAR CLUB IN NZ.

Our private club enables members to experience a variety of car brands and has formed a friendly, safe community of like-minded people.

Welcome to SUPERCARS OF NZ.

Supercars and Sportscars of NZ (“SoNZ”) Drivers Club is exclusively for car owners who love driving with fellow enthusiasts at social & learning events.  Whether it’s the thrill of experiencing NZ motorsport circuits, or flowing open roads, we create events with variety that real drivers seek. Our members are part of a friendly, supportive club of like-minded,  successful & positive people. Life-long friendships and business relationships, flourish within our club’s network.

INSTRUCTOR SUPPORTED DRIVING.

Our instructors help improve driving skills through guidance and feedback on technique. Members learn car dynamics, correct lines through a corner, how to brake and accelerate effectively and how to handle a car when pushed towards limits. This is especially valuable for newer drivers, learning your new car in a safe environment that helps you have increased confidence and control, or if you’re looking to improve higher levels of performance on a circuit.

Fat bottomed Porsches. You’ve got to love them! The 993 4S has the turbo body, running gear and big red brakes - just missing the turbo oomph!

Well yesterday I sold the 993 4S to a new owner that loves the car as much as I have. I just didn’t drive the car enough to warrant retention …plus it’s nice to have some cash for other things. Hmmm maybe some more travel and life experiences that are worth more than a pretty car in the garage 🤔

Looks like a great day out. Makes the weekend sacrifice all worth it :)

Wow I'm envious guys, rock on and smoke it.

I normally dont work on weekemds as i know the value of time and relaxation. But today and yesterday i started work at 5:30am! “I normally only get up before 5am if im going fishing” was ringing through my head.

The positive is that I got to drive the Ferrari F8 Tributo to motivate & remind me why i was awake before the birdsong! It’s all about what comes out of hard work - the privilege of greater life experiences!

Passers by pop over and check the car out all of the time. I love the smiles they get just looking at it.

I’ve posted this to highlight that most people only see the “results” of hard work - not the sweat, hours and sacrifices that people make to get ahead in life. Sure, enjoy your weekend but ask yourself what sacrifices you’ve made recently to create betterment in your and the life of those around you.

I have a simple philosophy …no pain:no gain!

It is not as social media too often portrays!

You need to have focus, discipline and work bloody hard to get ahead both financially, spiritually and emotionally! I once read as a young man - “the world owes you nothing” and I knew in that moment, we all need to get off high horses and make it happen ourself!

As much as I’d have loved the weekend off, I’ll now be able to spend tomorrow with a great group of our Club members at a race circuit.

I’ll be in another toy and will head there knowing i sacrificed my weekend, time with family, catching up with people and a real painful one - not being able to fish on a sunny, flat water day!

I’ll really enjoy tomorrow and people around me will have little idea of the sacrifices I’ve made to create an experience for them. They shouldn’t have to think about them either - they have their own story and I’ll have little idea of the sacrifices they’ll have made to get there. The important thing is being in the moment and sharing an experience that easily surpasses the pain everone took to get there!

That’s the point - everyone has a story. Everyone has made sacrifices.

I stopped doing a lot of social media as too many people are misled by it. It’s not about the car you drive - it’s all about values, hard work and learning the drivers story!

Get out there and make sacrifices. It’s hard at the time, but creates better outcomes, memories and awesome stories!

New Pirelli rubber going on the GT2RS today.

Chris and his team do an incredible job. The teams attention to detail and ensuring the rims remain in top condition throughout the process is first class.

Man, I get nervous about the rims on my old Audi when replacing the rubber - but a GT2 RS! I might need medication.💊
