We are passionate about supercars and high-performance sports cars. SoNZ brings together owners from across New Zealand who enjoy driving their cars the way they were meant to be driven, while building a community of like-minded enthusiasts.

Our members drive a wide range of incredible machines including Aston Martin, Audi RS, BMW M, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and Porsche. Whether on scenic touring routes, flowing open roads or at exclusive circuit experiences, SoNZ creates opportunities to enjoy these cars together.

SoNZ Drivers Club SoNZ Drivers Club is a private club where members participate in organised drive days, scenic tours, social gatherings and occasional circuit events across New Zealand. Members enjoy exclusive club experiences, professional event organisation and access to instructor-supported driving at selected circuit events.

How it started…

Hi, I’m Neil and I’m passionate about cars. I’ve historically had a bias towards McLaren, having owned seven over the past six years. Over time though, I’ve also enjoyed experiencing a wide range of other incredible brands and the unique driving experiences they offer.

I started this drivers club for New Zealand supercar and sports car owners who simply enjoy driving and sharing those experiences with others. Whether it’s exploring great open roads, enjoying scenic drives, or experiencing a circuit environment, the goal has always been to create opportunities for like-minded enthusiasts to connect and enjoy their cars together in a safe, friendly and spirited environment.

ABOUT OUR MEMBERSHIP.

Our members drive an incredible range of cars including Aston Martin, Audi RS, BMW M, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, McLaren, Mercedes AMG and Porsche. While many members own supercars, all high-performance sports cars are welcome, and the mix of marques adds to the unique experiences we create when driving together.

SoNZ was founded in July 2019 with a simple idea — to bring supercar and sports car owners together to enjoy their cars the way they were meant to be driven. From relaxed café drives and scenic tours to circuit experiences, club dinners and extended weekend trips, the focus has always been on great driving and great company.

Despite the club’s growth, we’ve maintained the original culture that makes SoNZ special — a group of good people who enjoy their cars and each other’s company. Our simple philosophy is “no egos, no idiots”, creating an environment of trust, safety and genuine camaraderie.
